Position Summary

Nurse Practitioner Candidate - Emergency

Fixed Term - (2 years)
Part Time – 32 hours per week

 

Colac Area Health currently has an opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner Candidate - Emergency to join our busy Urgent Care team.

 

The successful applicant will have;

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse  
  • Must have completed or be undertaking NMBA approved Master’s course
  • Minimum 5 years post graduate nursing experience
  • Evidence of a focus on and a passion for high quality patient care
  • Ability and willingness to provide direct care within scope of practice
  • Superior leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication (written and oral) and problem solving skills
  • Ability to actively lead and contribute to continuous quality improvement activities
  • The ability to maintain open dialogue with senior clinicians and management personnel.

Experience in development, delivery and evaluation of education
