Data and Reporting Officer
Part Time – 22.5 Hours per week
Colac Area Health is a values based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.
The Data and Reporting Officer is responsible for the submission and reconciliation of external statutory reports including AIMS, HACC, CHSP, Community Health Program and VINAH. The role provides training and support for Colac Area Health services to improve data accuracy and resolve system issues. The position provides internal data reports for stakeholders, enabling monitoring of service activity against set targets.
The Data and Reporting Officer provides support to the Health Information Services Manager, assisting with health information/data projects and other tasks as required. This position partners with regional colleagues and SWARH IT to progress TrakCare system updates and enhancements.

Essential:
- High level of IT literacy
- Demonstrated experience working with data and reports including data extraction, reconciliation, and production of statistical reports
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Analytical problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- A positive, can-do attitude that embraces a collaborative culture of learning and knowledge sharing
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Patient Administration/Clinical Systems
- Experience in submission of mandatory reports eg CHSP, AIMS, VINAH, HACC
- Staff training and coaching experience
- Understanding of Community/Family Services reporting requirement
- Tertiary qualification in a related field
