Position Summary

Occupational Therapist Grade 2 or 3
Permanent – Part time/Full time, Up to 38 hours per week

Colac Area Health is seeking applications for a passionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Allied Health team. Working with a variety of conditions and service areas, this is a great opportunity for professional growth and development within an experienced and supportive Occupational Therapy team.


What’s required? 

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA. Eligibility for membership with Occupational Therapy Australia Limited.
  • Demonstrated experience providing Occupational Therapy services in a health care setting (Acute Hospital, Rehabilitation, and Community).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex caseloads with specialist clinical knowledge and skills.
  • Experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision of students and staff within designated area.
  • Developing skills in research and established skills in the review of literature.
  • An effective interdisciplinary leader and team member of relevant teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the capacity to negotiate effectively
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, ability to work within tight timelines and adaptability to change
  • Understanding of the Colac Area Health business environment, the structural and financial arrangements, KPI’s and relationships between these factors and service delivery.
  • A commitment to continuing professional development
  • Current Victorian Driver’s Licence and Police Check

Permanent full time position available, however other options will be considered.
