GENERAL SERVICES ASSISTANT - KITCHEN HAND

Colac Area Health is a values based organisation providing a unique integrated health service comprising of over 500 employees, providing Acute Care, Aged Care, Community and Allied Health Services.

The Kitchen Hand's role is to provide an efficient support service to all users of CAH, including:

• Following the Duty Work Schedule of the rostered shift 
• Putting stores away 
• Washing and cleaning equipment and dishes 
• General cleaning kitchen, benches and floors 
• Basic food preparation and serving

What’s required? 

• Friendly and helpful disposition who is capable of representing the service effectively. 
• Ability to work in an organised system, accurate and timely manner as well as the ability to work in a changing environment. 
• Ability to work with limited supervision. 
• Demonstrated ability to work flexibly within tight time schedules and in accordance with variable workload demands. 
• Ability to work with all levels of the organisation. 
• Motivated team player who can demonstrate initiative.
