An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Perioperative Services Preadmission team. 

The Preadmission Nurse ensures that pre-operative patients receive a comprehensive assessment, education and appropriate referrals are in place to optimise the patients surgical outcome.

Perioperative Services is a friendly environment with a commitment to education. The successful candidate must be committed to the provision of a high level of customer services and quality health care in a team environment.

What’s required? 

• Current registration with AHPRA
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience
• Current nursing experience in Preadmission or Day Surgery 
• Ability to organise work in a systematic way, accurate and timely manner and be flexible in a changing environment
• Professional, friendly and a team player disposition who is capable or representing the department and organisation effectively
• Postgraduate qualifications or willingness to work towards
• Computer literacy
