Position Summary

Team Leader Family Services
Permanent, Part Time 32 hrs per week

 

We are seeking an experienced, positive and motivated leader to join our team. Reporting to the Manager of Family and Community Programs, this role is focused on the provision of line management, effective operational leadership and clinical supervision within Integrated Family Services.

This role will oversee the delivery of integrated family services to ensure that each child, young person or family is provided with a client centred response that aligns with best practice and relevant program guidelines

 

As our ideal candidate you: 

  • Are tertiary qualified (Social Work, Psychology, Community Development or similar) with experience in leadership and/or management  
  • Have experience in clinical supervision and other strategies to support staff
  • Have experience in working with marginalised families with a child centred family sensitive approach
  • Are an experienced people focused leader with a strong record in leading and managing a diverse disciplinary team and managing and reporting on a range of funding streams
  • Have excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to think laterally and work collaboratively within the dynamics of complex case management
  • Have highly developed interpersonal skills and easily build respectful relationships and work collaboratively within your team, across the organisation and with external service providers
  • Have a growth mindset, value accountability of self and others and consistently model the behaviours you want to promote across the organisation
  • Are self-directed, well organised and will proactively explore and act upon opportunities to enhance program outcomes and drive service improvements

Essential: • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to think laterally and work collaboratively within the dynamics of complex case management.
Essential: • Experience in developing partnership opportunities to achieve best practice outcomes for clients.
Essential: • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with other key internal and external stakeholders to build strong internal and external networks.
Essential: • Computer skills in a Windows and Google Drive environment including: word processing, data collection and entry, internet and email.
Essential: • Demonstrated experience in program planning and co-ordination including monitoring performance against targets and data reporting.
Essential: • Current Victorian Employee Working with Children’s Check and Victorian Driver’s Licence.
